Key Recruitment Group handled my application in a misleading and unprofessional manner. While I acknowledge that I should have disclosed upfront that I do not have a matric, this was not a simple oversight—it was a complicated situation dating back 20 years due to family responsibilities. I explained this in detail during the face-to-face interview, took full accountability, apologized, and even offered to withdraw my application if it was an issue. I was reassured that it would not be a problem, so I proceeded in good faith.

Despite this, they took me through multiple stages, including MEI checks and reference calls, only to later reject me based on the very same matric requirement I had already disclosed. If this was truly a dealbreaker, it should have been addressed the moment I was upfront about it—not after I had invested significant time and effort.

This lack of transparency raises concerns about their recruitment process. Candidates deserve clear, honest communication from the outset to avoid unnecessary frustration and wasted effort.
