Cell phone Damaged both inOn September 2022, i brought my phone in for repairs, The issue was a screen. The screen was blank however the phone was charging and i was using the phone as an alarm clock for the four Months with the blank screen issue as it was charing with the issue at hand What i did was charge it and when the battery was finished and alarm did go ON, by the alarm not going ON i'd know the battery was finished then charge it and alarm will ring after it was charged. I happen to be appointed at ACSA as a Senior SQL DBA. Then had to return the phone to my previous employer, i then took it for repairs at EKASI Artist because i had to fix it before submitting back to my employer - as it is a company property.Submitted it for screen they told me they can not fix it right there nd then they need to take it to the lab for fixing, then bring it back however when i enquired about it on the day i was supposed to get it, they told me the phone was not yet fixed, I told them how is that possible because they are the once who gave me the turn around time and i have already told my boss and my lawyer regarding the turn around time which i was given by them. They then told me I am not the only customer which was rude i insisted on wanting it back they then said they will deliver it at my house in the evening as i was travelling the next morning and was going to be away for a week or 2 weeks if not more as i work for Gaming industry and trave for projects, the guy whom i initially left the phone with at the store then sent me a video in the evening saying they fixing the phone which to my surprise they were fixing it here in the mall but they initially the said they don't fix phones at the mall , unfortunately i deleted that video with the phone with i was borrowed y my boss after thais phone was in for repairs because i had to return the borrowed phone when i was leaving I was some what glad that the phone is being fixed. in the morning it was then sent to me, when it got t the office it was on 4% i put it in the charger and it was not charging i then told him that the phone is not charging but when i gave it to them it was charging, and all was well as per samsung diagnostics report. He then said i need to pay R400.00 because my charging point is damaged by water i told him that is not correct , phone was charging and was using it for the past 4 months, and no water damage has ever happened on that phone, they must have tempered with it we went through a back and forth about the screen of the phone which he said was cracked which was and that was not my query for some reason they always divert to the screen ,-- How did it get cracked ? it was in my bag with 2 other phones, and when i took it out it was cracked my guess is they have hit each other because it didn't fall at all which my guess was poor quality screen. and the lady at the store then called Evashni after the guys at the store said they are not goig to replace the screen again for me. I also didn't want them to replace the screen, i wanted my charging port to be as is when i left it with them and my phone to charge as i gave it them charging, they had to take accountability for the charging not screen i clearly stated that they shouldnt replace the screen because the guy complained about the screen and i told him to leave that , as that is not the point However when i got the phone back , screen was replaced and the phone was now turning on which was good. but did i say they should replace the screen NO,That was not query i logged as the customer. but before that they lady Vashni, suggested to give me a different phone i then told her, that can not be possible because the phone , my phone has an IME number which recorded by the company, i have to get that initial phone back. It then dawned on me that these technicians might have damaged the phone so bad for her to even suggest that after it has been sent back to the lab, however i had little hope in me that it is not as bad but to my shock it is bad they gave me the phone back while in the bag,the bag literally fell from the couch to the carpet. later i wanted to wipe out the phone (remove password and images and etc )before sending it back to the company. it then had a chip from the falling of the bag which really wasn't asn issue for me. I then tried to to that but when i press an G it will recognise it as a different alphabet, e.g it will see it as an F and the entire left side which was the chipped side doesnt work at all. such short radius. i then asked for a second opinion from a qualified technician who deals with devices at the OR Tambo International airport, theier finding was that the alignment of the sensor was not done properly hence this issue, Vashni's tech then said the screen is attached to the sensor so they have to replace the screen which di not make sense to me at all that everytime the phone gets

dropeed screen will have to be replaced because the phone will be damaged, i mean how many times does a norml persona drop their phone in a year, hundred times. i told her the technician has done damage on the phone because the phone now is peeling glue, the exterior shows that they opened the enotire phone for what i dont know and even open the back where the battery is and ddnt put it back as is, Before submitting the phone to them the phone was took to samsumsung for diagnostic and findings confirmed that i only need screen nothing is dead, After giving it to them e=and getting back everything was dead and they claim they had to replace, charger, mother board , screen how? when all this was fine. unless they tempered with the parts athe messed up the entire device. I can not take such device back , it is an isnult to my boss and the next employee. Kindly assist in this regard, they must take accountability and fix the mess they did, i do not want screen replacement because this is beyond screen replacement. Samsung wouldn't put a sensor in their device that will get irritated by 1 fall, that phone fell and has major crack before giving it to them and i have that old screen and the diagnostic reports from samsung before giving it to them and the post repair image****terior and interface
