I was deceived into forfeiting my deposit. Upon reviewing the move-in and move-out reports, I discovered that they deducted the entire deposit amount for the replacement of a couple of malfunctioning light fixtures. Furthermore, the condition of the property was subpar, as even gentle wall cleaning resulted in paint peeling off, a concern I had reported. Astonishingly, my deposit was utilized to fund the replacement of the carport with tiles, accounting for the complete depletion of my deposit funds. I will be taking them to the Rent tribunal.
