Who pays your salary?? Owner or tenant!

I initially wanted to sign up a tenant with JL about 14 months back but decided to go with another company. I retained the contact number of a mpumi nhlabathi for future reference. This year, because of her good attitude during our initial conversation, I contacted her to place a tenant. She advertised it and said to me, about 3 weeks later, that there was no interest. She advised that I reduce the rent by R500 and miraculously, 1 day later, a tenant was found (ZTE corporation). I did some changes to the lease agreement to which there was no conversation of any sort as to why they removed all my comments on the final draft for signing. They sent through the agreement will all changes removed. The reason for the above will be more apparent a little later. I signed the agreement because I needed a tenant in ASAP.

On the day of handing over the key with the tenant, things got uncomfortable due to mpumi making me feel like a slumlord on my own property rather than a customer. Her attitude was disrespectful and clearly showed that she was "sucking up" to the tenant during the inspection after which point I cut her off completely from the conversation. I walked out thinking, who is paying this ****bags salary? All R11k of my hard earned money in commission.

I later learned that Just Letting has placed many other ZTE tenants in the complex hence the "sucking up" behavior. Her interest is the people that can give her the on going business in ZTE through placements and not the landlord.

Just a heads up to any landlords who plan to use this company and this woman: DONT.

MPUMI: you are a pathetic excuse for a salesperson both in terms of customer relations and the way you go about your business. You and your company will not earn any further comms from me from any rental extensions past the 12 month lease.
