*********, ***ist *******

I rent a property through Just Property Mosselbay.
I have PAID MY RENT IN FULL until September 2018.
I have received a job offer overseas and have asked to get out of the lease.
1. I am told I am fully liable for lease until they find a replacement.
A. They had an enquiry for the property which Teresa Snyman turned away because they had kids? Yet, Cobus the owner said in an explicit email that this estate and unit is ideal for a family with kids. When I asked Cobus why the prospective tenant was turned away - he flat out **** and said they had no such enquiry.
2. This unit can be rented out at a minimum of R2000 per day during peak season, lasting over 2 months - yet they refuse to gain income from this.
3. The geyser burst and they waited 5 days to have it repaired.
4. The tumbledryer door BROKE, and they are accusing me of negligence and I must pay?
5. There was an attempted break in next door and I have asked for extra security, to which they have flat out refused.

I am an excellent tenant who is being PUNISHED for being one. It is simply unbelievable.

This Just Property is far more concerned to try and prove me wrong about things. Simplistically, they must ethically find a replacement (which they are definitely not doing) and leave me to get on with my life.
They know they will not find another tenant like me - so they are not actively trying to find one.

I have supporting documentation for all of the above.

They think they can intimidate and bully me. It is a truly strange set up.
They are not in my life to teach me anything or to make assumptions about me. They are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I have secured the services of a legal mediator, yet this has proved fruitless as They are ignored.

Based on the fact they have turned a tenant away, I can sue them for loss of income. I need the rental money I have PAID over to finalise my overseas job appointment. Should I be unable to accept the job because if their UNPROFESSIONALISM, I will hold them liable for my contract term salary.
