Rental Deposit shortage

Dear Hello Peter I hope I get assistance from you Just property agents based in Vanderbijilpark really mistreated us me and my house mate, yet we where cooperative with their terms I believe the deposit paid to them is the money a client receives when they move out and if the client has done any damages to the property the money is then deducted, we had someone doing the outgoing inspection and everything was fine there where no damages yet they deducted our deposit saying they cleaned the unit and they also cleaned the carpet which was a total of R1641.00 they just sent us an invoice about the lights and cleaning the total cost is that much we've been going back and forth with them we where supposed to receive R7200.00 of our deposit, i heard of this platform from a friend and i would really appreciate the help they really **** their clients and im not happy with the way they conduct their business.
