Non-compliance to the LAW

Being a tenant of Just letting since January I have been extremely badly dealt with on a number of items:<br> <br> - In March I was issued with a letter of demand for non payment of rental, this was sent AFTER I had paid the rent, I was then charged R65 for the letter of demand and when queried I was told that they cannot reverse the charge.<br> - In August I had an issue with the electricity and sent an email in this regard explaining the situation and stating that I was only paying 50% of the electricity bill until such time as the problem was rectified. I received no response from them and ended up having to get an electrician in AT MY OWN EXPENSE to fix the geyser which was the cause. In September they phoned me to demand I pay the balance of the electricity which I argued with them about but we ended up agreeing and I paid. I then receive a bill from them for the phone call made to me to sort out the balance.<br> - I have requested a copy of my lease, they have never provided it.<br> - I have requested proof that my deposit is being held in an interest bearing account, never received.<br> - I have requested the principles details and they refuse to give them to me.<br>
