Never Use Just Property for rentals

I signed up with the Lorraine office Port Elizabeth to manage my rental property. I put the current tenant on notice and from there I was shocked at the service I had and was receiving from Reo and William at Just properties. I queried why the 6 monthly inspection had stopped and was not being done. I was told that I had instructed them not to do the inspection.i never gave such an instruction and Just Properties could not provide proof of this. The state of my property was appalling to say the least and when I asked about this Just Property said the tenant has a right to do whatever the want with the property while the living there. I also queried the number of people living in my 2 bedroom house, on more than one occasion but got no response. The neighbour confirmed that there were 3 to 4 families staying on the property. I emailed the branch manager with regards to the above issues and to resolve my complaints. I was told that all of this was my fault. With the outgoing inspection I was told by William, among other things that if I did not pay half the cost of getting the property back to its original state I would be taken to the rental tribunal. I found there service and lack of responsibility was extremely unprofessional and realized that when dealing with Just property everything you say and query must be in writing when dealing with them. I did not know that I should have monitored them doing their job, I thought because I paid them a monthly commission fee that was their responsibility to manage the property.
