Never again

<p>This was our first property rental ever and hopefully my last. We rented an appartment in Kimberley and while we were actually happy with the place itself, the bad service of Just Letting made us quit the contract. There was mistake after mistake in the account statements - and of course always in favour of Just Letting. They reported us at the credit bureau, although we were ahead with our payments (but their erroneous statements showed something else). They tried to charge us double for the first month, to charge us for repairs that have not been done, for water which was agreed on, that we will not have to pay for, etc. etc.</p> <p>At the end they charged us a huge amount for cleaning the appartment, althoug we left it fully cleaned. Of course we never saw a proof, that there was any cleaning done.</p> <p>The agent to whom we were supposed to hand over the key, made us drive 70km for nothing on a Saturday morning, because she decided not to show up on the agreed day. Instead she called us on Sunday morning and got angry, when we refused to drive the 70km again in order to hand over the key. When we returned the key on Monday, which was according to the contract, she gave us a face.</p> <p>Simply said: everything was extremely unprofessional</p>
