Negligent Estate Employee's lack of communication and inconsideration left me homeless

There is an Estate Agent by the name Nonhle Mpulu who works for Just Property Midrand. My cousin and I were looking for a new flat to call a home for the beginning of January and placed our trust on her. He response was slow towards my cousin, forcing me to take the responsibility of contacting her. She would not answer, return or respond to any emails that she had sent her. She however managed to return my calls, approve my application for a specific flat of my preference.

A week before we had to move into the place, I still had no lease agreement or any details of where and when I should the deposit. The day before my moving out day, she answered my calls and said that she is still trying to find the owner and where the keys are. I then asked her to return to me with any information. She assured me the flat was ready and that we would be able to move in. She did not and would not pick up my calls afterwards.

The day i had to move out, Tuesday the 2nd of January 2018, I called her endless times and still no answer. Around 11am, I managed to obtain one of her colleagues' contacts details who then called her to confirm the flat's application. She managed to pick up his calls and explain what had happened. He put her on loud speaker so I may hear what she says.

She says the flat owner sold the place the Saturday before. She says she **** to me because she was afraid of hurting my feelings. As a result we had already moved out, waiting in the parking area for the keys to our new home. She did not try to assist us in getting a new place. We were left with no other option but to settle for what her colleague could find for us on the spot.

This is absolute negligent behavior, seeing that i could have made arrangements as soon as i found out, giving me 4 spare days to make arrangements. She is irresponsible and *********** enough to do her duties and job as an estate agent. I also got information from her colleague that this is not her first or her fifth time. She has been continuously doing this on purposes to many customers.
