We feel that we as landlords have been ripped of by justletting.our tenant didn't pay 3 months rent all she got was a few phone calls according to the agency and a letter of demand which served no purpose as she hasn't paid since Oct 2015.Our reason for using a letting services to manage our property was to avoid the exact problem which we are faced with in order for us to take it further we have to cough up the lawyers fees.Apart from the debt we have now incurred we received a list of fix ups from the agency as they have got a new tenant in our property one of the fix ups required is the blinds which according to the person in charge of maintenance is bent when I called them to ask why we are liable to pay for it to be fixed when it was damaged by tenant and was not to our knowledge given in that condition I was told that they cannot hold a gun to the tenants head and it was unfortunately a landlords curse,I haven't to our knowledge been made aware of any inspections on our property to avoid this so I\m wondering what do we pay them for?If tenants dont pay rent they make a few attempts to call them and issue a letter of demand end of story unless you want to fork out thousands "
