Just property Kathu/Kalahari We moved into a house November 2018. Just property kalahari were the agency renting the house. I payed my key deposit of R10 000. My first water bill was R3500 for one month, so I went to the municipality and they told me it is because of previous payments not done. Just property probably expected from me to pay it. On the 1st January 2019 I were working night shift and my wife was alone at the house. That night it was raining alot and the house roof was leaking. (first rain since we moved in) The whole house was under water. We dit not even have one piece of clothing that was dry. So I contacted them and informed them about the problem. They did nothing!! later in that week it was raining again! Same problem al*****. Only then they send someone to fix the roof. In February we had alot of rain again and the problem was even worse. In the livingroom the water was +-10cm deep. My livingroom set, tv cupboard, bookshelf and computer was damaged because of the water. I gave just property notice that I will be moving out of the house at the end of March because the house is not fit for people to live in. Now they dont want to pay my key deposit of R10 000 back. I am the one who suffered from living in that house for all my furniture that is damaged. Please check before you consider doing business with them because they dont care about you or your belongings, they just want your money. I went to see a lawyer and he sent them a lawyer's letter that I just want my deposit money back. They had no response so now I am building a case against them for the deposit money and all my losses in damages. JUST PATHETIC.
