Incompetence

Upon finding an advert on property24 on a unit that was available the agent was called and we were charged R15400 which can be broken down to R7200 for the deposit and R7200 for the rent as well as R1000 for the administration fees. This amount later changed to R16200 and then again an additional R200 was added at the end making it R1000 more than the original price. Despite these constantly increasing prices the agent sent the wrong account number and it was blamed on me when the payment didn’t reflect. The apartment is also not in the greatest condition as the toilet is in a disturbing state and there is a leak in the shower as well as a stove that is not fully functional. I am thoroughly disappointed by the manner in which this situation was handled.
