I highly don’t recommend Just Property in Port Elizabeth

My fiancé and I have been renting a duplex through Just Property in Port Elizabeth for the past three months or so, and have experienced problem after problem ever since. Eight incidents later and absolutely no assistance what so ever, a complete disregard to our problems. We are the first to rent this brand new duplex which was built extremely poorly, we dealt with a major problem and cause for serious concern for weeks with little to no response to our constant attempted contact of our agent. We originally loved the look of the property and it’s modern design upon our viewing which could only be done two weeks or so beforehand after already paying for the first months total rent, little did we know. The duplex was clearly rushed when built to be rented out as soon as possible, it took weeks for our agent to get in contact with and send out the areas plumber for a serious problem that could not be put on hold for a day longer. The contact details of all services were withheld and had to wait weeks without a fully functioning toilet, as we were not going to take out of our own pockets considering that we had just moved in when this problem became obvious only a few days later. We waited weeks to receive our electric gate remote which caused further issues and another few weeks for the electrician to come out, our agent was not helpful at all and made it very clear that she didn’t care for our concern. Although originally very friendly and kind looking, Veronique Eachus completely pushed us aside as soon as she made her commission off of us. Very disappointing and unacceptable, we will not be renewing our one year contract for next year and plan on moving to a different location through another real estate company.
