Deposit Refund

I am a previous tenant of one of the properties let by just letting , decided not to renew the lease , the apartment is in perfectly good condition as we found it , during the lease term , the geyser started leaking , this was reported numerous times but was not attended to , as a result damages were sustained , now we have vacated the premises and are expecting our deposit but have been quoted ridiculously , and no deposit will be paid out . another issue is that the premises were not inspected by the initial agent Joe Leboho , but a different guy , now my flat mate and I are querying all of this with the portfolio manager Noma , but we are not getting any responses .
