Abuse by Agents

Without doubt, Just Property ****arney and Just Property Group are the vilest rental agency. I implore everyone to head this warning and think twice before making use of them.

Summary to allow the reader to make its own mind up- 1. We were paying tenants lawfully disputing a municipal account of 150 thousand litres of wasted water over 3 months (no swimming pool in a townhouse Unit with 2 adults 2 minor children). This water concern was reported to Just Property ****arney who elected to do nothing to rectify the damage. This dispute was then sent to the Rental Housing Tribunal for resolution. Despite the Tribunal dispute, we continued to pay full rental and all certain municipal fees. 2. Just Property ****arney then unilaterally terminated the existing Lease and threatened my wife in a recorded call. This is being used as evidence at the Tribunal. 3. Just Property ****arney failed to rectify a concern with a wall when we reported it. The independent assessor employed by Just Property ****arney (for the take back inspection) confirmed that the said wall is a structural wall and needs to reviewed by an engineer. This is material gross negligence and placed the safety of the unit and complex at risk. 4. Just Property ****arney never disclosed the true nature of the Unit that we were renting. That is, the concerns of the Unit were painted over and the Rising Damp problem was never disclosed. This has been confirmed in writing by the aforementioned independent assessor. This is very concerning as it affects health. 5. Whilst, I cannot confirm this, my wife who is a healthy athlete, spent 1 week in ICU due to unknown respiratory problems whilst we lived in the Unit. However, in 2004 the Institute of Medicine (IOM) found there was sufficient evidence to link indoor exposure to mould with upper respiratory tract symptoms, cough, and wheeze in otherwise healthy people; with asthma symptoms in people with asthma; and with hypersensitivity pneumonitis in individuals susceptible to that immune-mediated condition. The IOM also found limited or suggestive evidence linking indoor mould exposure and respiratory illness in otherwise healthy children. The Deposit has obviously not been refunded and this is part of the Tribunal dispute.

Just Property Group refused to bring Just Property ****arney to order and based on this, I have only a negative report card for Just Property Group and Just Property ****arney.
