Dubious deposit deductions

Having given due notice, I vacated a property rented through JRL on 30 April 2015. JRL put a new tenant into the property the next day - May. Now 10 June and I have not yet been able to get a statement showing the deposit to be refunded. I did receive a commitment from Hesmien on 25 May that it would be repaid before the end of that week. I have been phoning regularly since then only to leave messages or hear promises to get back to me. The excuse for the past 2 days has been that her email is not working. <br> <br> 2 days later have now received a deposit statement showing R5000 repairs which I know from the current tennant have not been done NOR was there any need to do any repairs according to the OUT inspection. I have not been shown the repair quotes nor what the repairs are. Highly dubious.<br> <br> I have had issues before with JRL which I was only able to resolve by resorting the Estate Agents Board.
