Defective Cutting Board – Immediate Resolution Required
Hi, I recently purchased a wood folio cutting board from you for approximately R3,400, and I am extremely concerned with the quality of the product received. The board is visibly rough, poorly finished, and the wood is splintering. This is not just a cosmetic issue — it presents a serious food safety risk, as wood fragments can easily contaminate food during use. For a premium product at this price point, I would expect a properly sanded, sealed, and food-safe finish. This product is clearly not fit for purpose and does not meet acceptable quality standards. I require an immediate resolution to this matter. Please advise whether you will arrange a full refund or a replacement with a properly finished, defect-free board. I am happy to provide images if required, although the issue is very clear. I look forward to your urgent response.

Joseph Joseph Nest Glass Storage 4-Piece Set
In April 2023, I bought the Nest Glass Storage 4-Piece set, which I was happy with initially as glass is healthier than plastic. I then bought a second set of the product in September 2023. After more than a 1 year, the plastic lids shrunk and started popping off and no matter how hard I pushed them down, they are like jack-in-the-box and won't stay on. As such, when I put the containers in the fridge, the lids pop off and food is exposed and dries out. When removing the containers from the fridge, the lids slide around as you pick up a container - I've almost dropped the glass containers several times. I've chosen to pack up the containers in their original boxes and replace them with a different brand with click on lids. What use are glass containers if the lids are given only a 1 year warranty? It means half of the product is for a lifetime and the other half is meant to last a year? I love Joseph Joseph products, but I would not recommend this glass set of storage containers.
