Prolonged Delays, Errors, and Lack of Follow-Up

If I could give 0 stars, I would. JJ Jacobs Attorneys was appointed as our transfer attorneys, and our home purchase experience has been extremely frustrating from start to (not even yet) finish.

1. Ongoing municipal account issues: Our City of Tshwane accounts repeatedly went into arrears during the transfer process. Even now, we are still waiting for our deeds search document, which is preventing us from registering the accounts properly — resulting in repeated arrear issues whenever we try to load prepaid electricity.

2. Registration took 4 months due to errors in the initial documents, which had to be redone and re-signed.

3. There was a clear lack of urgency and proactive follow-up throughout the process — we constantly had to chase for updates.

4. Even after registration was completed, we are still waiting — 3 weeks later — for the refund of our transfer duty.

Overall, the process has been poorly managed, stressful, and unnecessarily prolonged. I would not recommend their services.
