Worst service Received!
I am unfortunately a customer of JET that moved over to RCS group. I say unfortunate as I have never in life been so humiliated like I was yesterday!
I pay my account every month with no issue. I have purchased items before on my jet account at TFG stores, namely @home. I went yesterday to @home in Cresta Mall and made a payment of R2500 on my account so I could purchase an item of R4000.
This payment was taken on my jet card with no issues - I repeat - NO ISSUES! I then tried to purchase the item and it declined. I called the call centre and they informed me that my card had a security lock on it and put me through to the ***** department. There I went through the entire process to verify myself and the consultant informed me that the block on my card was lifted and I can now proceed to buy.
Again - the card declined. I called back and was told that there is nothing wrong on my account. AGAIN, it declined - I called back and they informed me that I need to get the card replaced as it is no longer working? And apparently hasn't been working since I last made a purchase - yet it is working to take payment????
By this time I had been in the shop for over an hour with the staff trying to assist me. No-one on the call centre was even willing to help, in fact, they got quite arrogant and said I should listen to them and go get a new card.
So off we go to Jet in Cresta Mall only to be met with *********** staff who just shrugged their shoulders not knowing what to do. They then informed me that they don't have cards and I will have to go on the waiting list for when they do get as there are other customers waiting.
I called back to the called Centre to explain and once again was met with an arrogant person who said there is nothing they can do and I just have to accept it. I asked to speak to a manager and she put the phone down in my ear.
I paid cash for the items I was looking for as by this time the store was closing.
Never in my life have I been so embarrassed and enraged. My money is good enough to take - so who broke my card?????
