Unable to close account and can't get paid up letter.

I've paid off an account i had with JET but it's still active and I've been trying to get it closed or have a paid off letter but no one is able to assist. I went to JET stores as well as Edgar's am I'm told they cannot find the account and no one is able to assist. I am very frustrated as this is affecting my credit but no one is able to assist!
