TFG JET unexplained refund policy

I purchased two pairs of jeans yeaterday for my husbands birthday using my Capitec debit card and had to return them today asking for refund, as he doesn't like the alim fit and they did not have regular fit. At absolutely no point during the purchase process was I informed that, should I return the items, I would be expected to wait between 3 and 7 working days for MY OWN MONEY to be refunded and reflected in my account. This is not a minor detail that can simply be omitted. A potential 7-working-day delay in receiving a refund is important information that should be clearly communicated to customers BEFORE payment is made. I was never given the opportunity to make an informed decision because this information was not disclosed to me. I find it completely unacceptable that the items can be returned immediately, yet I am expected to wait up to 7 working days for money that was taken from my account immediately. The inconvenience caused by this lack of transparency is unacceptable. Had I been properly informed about this refund process beforehand, I would have considered my options differently. I spoke with the store manager who then called her area manager who's reply was there is nothing they can so as it is store policy. I am really upset and frustrated
