rude, un-mannered, un-cultured, un proffessional and loud Jet Employee"BOBOZA"
firstly we got to the entrance of the Jet store in Silverton(the one where there is a shoprite checkers) we were at the entrance of the store and first thing there was no supervision. there is a table next to the door for clothes but I guess it is also used as a station to welcome in customers in order to ensure they sanitize and that the temperature is checked as per the covid regulations. to my surprise there was no one at the door so I had to then search for the sanitizer and assume that customers have to sanitize themselves. there was a gentleman behind us who couldn't wait longer and understandable because there was no Jet employee at the entrance ensuring that the cue moves smoothly and everyone sanitizes...to my thinking without this kind of supervision it is very easy for customers to cut the cue or just walk in without sanitizing because no one is at the door. not a problem so I proceed to walk in with my mother pushing our grocery trolley. to my surprise of not hearing or walking into any Jet representative at the door I was shocked to hear a mans voice shouting from the pay point telling me that no trollies allowed. my mother and I stood there surprised but we proceeded to ask where to take the trolley. they guy again shouted just park it! park it!....so my mother asked "we must just park it?" this was embarrassing because this guy was addressing us in front of all the customers from the pay point. this approach lacked humanity and respect. I felt that if they don't allow trollies that is perfectly fine but at least have someone at the door to inform clients as they walk in..... also have someone at the door to professionally explain to customers why trollies are not allowed. these was my concerns: no jet employee to sanitize customers, no security guard at the door, yet we are instructed in rage metres away to leave our trollies. the very same guy who shouted from a distance was unable to check if customers are sanitizing. moving on....I proceeded to push the trolley to the door as he instructed and accidentally bumped into a clothing item(understand that at this time I felt attacked) this guy then proceeds in front of all customers to say to me "do you see why we don't want trollies? because of such " and at that point I went to his till point and asked him to not speak to me in that manner as it is rude. The guy didn't even apologize or handle it professionally. I advised him I too work with customers and would never address them in this way. my mother even said but guys at least then put someone at the door to check customers in before they walk in because this approach is wrong. my mom calmly told him that she too runs a business and if a customer is mad you should be at the same level as them. the gentleman then proceeded to speak about me to another paying customer in the store which made me mad because I'm at the store to buy clothes, he disrespected me, couldn't apologize and still has the nerve to gossip about me to a paying customer. this just showed me the lack of professionalism and how this guy has no respect for customers or his clients. I urged him to not talk about me to a customer and he then said he also has rights and not afraid to loose his job. I told him that I will really put this on social media and he said he is not afraid. I then straight up said" you are ****en rude" I felt strongly about my statement because his approach to us and the entire customers in the store was rude. he then played victim and shouted "don't swear at me don't swear at me!! I said I'm not swearing at you, the swear work was a description of your lack of respect and approach. my mom calmed me down and as I was getting the trolley back another old man walked in with his wife also pushing a trolley. the same rude guy also screamed from the till telling the customer the same thing he told me. with a chest as rude as he was to me, he did the same to the guy. the old man got mad and asked where the manager was. he asked what will happen to his belongings? we all walked out of the store disgusted. the old man said that jet employee is rude. only towards the end a 2nd jet employee stood at the door, hesitant to even give us the other guys name. he said his name is "boboza" which I don't even trust. I know he was wearing a BMW mask, and was behind the till point. Jet please investigate this. I even feel unsafe bumping into this man in the street or in the store. he was aggressive, un-cultured(NO ubuntu), ungrateful for the job he had. there are many unemployed people who would treat this job and understand how much of a long way customer service can go!!! if you are not listening to your customers! you competitors are!! quote: “We see our customers as invited guests to a party, and we are the hosts. It’s our job every day to make every important aspect of the customer experience a little bit better.”
