poor quality phone/tablet purchased

I purchased a very poor quality tablet/phone in September 2016 and have not been able to use the phone since as it has been sent for repairs twice since being bought and it is still not working. The tablet was purchased from Jet- a Shaker Boost by Telkom. Two days after purchase the screen cracked in my pocket and to date the tablet is unable to pick up a network connection. The phone has either been at the JET store or with the technical repairs team (the initial repair cost +/- R300 that I had to pay for) that JET sends the phones to since the first week of purchase. This is really disappointing as the price of the tablet was R1600 and the quality is beyond dismal. I would like this poor quality merchandise to be replaced as it was returned initially within 7 days however I was never given the option of a replacement.

The reason for my complaint is that the phone has been sent to the supplier to be repaired twice and cannot connect to a network, does this not mean that the supplier is unable to fix the phone?
