POOR CUSTOMER TREATMENT

Me and my Wife went into the Jet Store to purchase a pair of shoes. We stood behind a lady waiting to be assisted, stood for over 5 minutes and as we are approaching the teller he tells us to go and queue elsewhere and this is what he says on top "pay there, can't you read".

Now, mind you, there are no indicators of where to queue begins, his till was open and we went to him and stood right in from of him and not once did he tell us where to queue into we approached him and to have the nerve to tell us "CANT YOU READ". Upon speaking to the security personnel there, they attested that this is not new and that black customers are not treated with the same dignity that coloured and white people are treated. Even the manager responded to our complain with some sarcasm and cheek.

I recommend new-customers to not visit Jet Store at Zevenwacht Mall in Kuilsriver!!! The staff is ill-trained and has no clue of the power customers possess. Name of supervisor: Leilanie Teller / cashier: Faseeg. Be on the alert for this discriminants when visiting Zevenwacht Mall in Kuilsriver, Cape Town!!!
