Poor customer service

On the 4th of December around 16:50, went to jet store bloem plaza to close my account, I waited by the queue, even asked if I should wait there to just close my account and the answer was yes.

I went with the queue, when I got to the cashier, was made to wait again for someone who was busy with another customer while the other customer before me was also waiting.

When she finally comes ( the person I was waiting for) she started 1st by chatting with someone for at least 2 min before she could ask if she can help us. The lady told her her problem regarding over payment of insurance, then asked me what I was there for and I told her I want to close my account and is paid up.

She went somewhere with the other customer and when she finally comes back, she told me the account department was closed as she tried to phoned them but I asked myself if she did phoned, why she didn’t take me with to the phone because the consultant would have asked to speak with me.

I then asked for the numbers because I didn’t want unnecessary argument. After she gave me the numbers, right there I phoned and to my surprise, the phone was answered and I spoke to Silindile, she took my request and gave me reference for the call as her name and that days date.

My problem was, if the lady by the name Cecilia didn’t want to help me, why she **** about call center being closed, apparently it only closes at 19:00. Why was she there if she didn’t want to help me?
