Jet/Edgars allowed someone to open an account using my ID, and gave them clothes over R7, 6k. First time client, no need to prove anything. They have my mobile, which they've given to over 10 debt collecting legal firms yet they never bothered to do any checks to verify the person was who they claimed to be.

Now, I have been listed for refusing to spend my money and time, making a copy of my ID, and going to police station to certify it and get affidavit, with 6 specimens of my signature. Can you imagine how ridiculous this sounds?

This huge corporate punishes me, innocent person, to prove to insurance company that they thought the ***** was indeed me and need me to spend my money and time to allow them to claim from insurance without any resistance for a payout. This is an easy way of boosting sales in a declining economy, I think.

Here is a suggestion, Jetstores and Edgars should use their resources to find culprits that they willingly give their enormous goods to, with little effort. They must remove me from the credit listing companies (I have no debt except credit card debt, if I did, it won't be at Jet, worse for that amount)

Can these debt collecting legal firms do the right thing, charge these corporates for the work of chasing real culprits instead of bullying us?

I want my name cleared, much as I didn't participate in the theft (Jetstores was just that much involved), I shouldn't have to spend my hard earned money and time to justify these shananigins going on here. It smells fishy
