JET, the ****** clothing store!

Shocking customer service and racial ************** experienced at the Jet East Rand Mall store. The assistant manager Valetia, when asked about price discrepancies was evasive and dismissive and walked away from my wife. After escalating to the store manager Justice, over the phone, Valetia proceeded to hurl racially discriminatory remarks at my wife, about being Indian and saying things like, "all you Indians are the same!" After not receiving feedback with regards to this serious complaint, the matter was taken to social media. Justice thereafter called back to inform us that the matter was being investigated and that he had escalated the issue to his manager Brian. Brian called and said that Justice would call back the next day to provide feedback. 2 days later, and after not receiving feedback, I called Justice who informed me that his manager was going to provide feedback as he submitted the investigation report the previous evening. 49 hours later, Brian, who after 24 hours of sitting with the internal investigation report, called my wife back to say that his managers, Brandon and Abdul were requesting a meeting at East Rand Mall 7 days after the incident had occured. Brian evaded any questions on what the turnaround time is for customer queries. ****** in all forms is terrible but not something that Jet seems to care about. The assistant manager continues in her role at the store and will most definitely be rude, especially to people who do not look like her. Why would she change, as she has the full support of the Jet management team!
