JET tactics to pay more than the settlement amount

I settled my Jet account in June/July 2019 with a settlement amount offered at R554 discount after it was handed over and promised a paid up letter within 48 hours. A year later I recieved a phone call that my account was handed over for the amount of R554! ONE YEAR LATER, after I had statements saying 0.00 instalment due for an entire year, suddenly the exact amount resurfaces and the account is handed over to new attorneys who know nothing about the settlement amount. I have called Jet and spoken to them, they promised to escalate the matter, and admitted that my case was NOT the only one like this, but they will have to track the attorneys down. Since then the R554 "outstanding amount" has accumalated to R750. How is that possible. No email, no feedback, no call back. Now they are part of RCS, and no one can assist. I have been given the following numbers to call, ALL IN ONE DAY to get to the bottom of the lost "paid up letter" and the "outstanding" R554. These are the numbers I called today alone and no one could assist: *** then asked to dial *** then asked to dial ***no answer so dialed *** again, then told to dial *** where no call was answered, so dialed ***1 again and then told to dial NSC at *** (no answer) and then dialed *** no answer I just need to understand 1) why my paid up letter was not recieved? 2) why the settlement amount ended up not being the settlement amount? 3) why after one year of NO INSTALMENTS DUE, do I suddently have to pay R554, the exact amount that was discounted from my settlement amount? 4) why nobody can assist in tracking down the settlement 5) how do I log a dispute via email to have a written record, only phone numbers are provided It seems like a tactic from JET to get customers to quickly agree to settlement amounts with a discount, only to then never send the paid up letter and never communicate with them for an entire year, to get another set of attorneys to pay the discounted amount. So there was never a settlement amount to begin with. In principle, it is reflecting bad on credit scores, because I did not even know for an entire year that they wanted me to pay R554! Please can JET / RCS respond and get to a resolution as the R554 is now incurring interest and I will have to dispute it further.
