JET STORES FUNERAL COVER: A ****?

My mom was a customer of Jet since the time of Sales House Stores in the 1900s and had a funeral cover that she was paying at Jet, as well as a credit cover and Jet club membership.Her account was update when she passed away on the 8th February 2021. I duly submitted all the required documents in order to claim for her funeral cover which is R10 000.To date only her club membership and credit cover has been settled which amounted to R3500 cash pay out.The funeral claim despite several brach store visits,numerous phone calls and emails has not been paid.I have been sent from pillar to post.I am starting to think that Jet Stores is taking advantage of its customers by making them pay for nothing.My mom probably paid more than R10 000 for this cover, considering the number of years she paid it. But sadly Jet stores doesn't care about that at all. It is very sad to mourn a loss of a loved one and also have to fight for her.She paid for this cover so that she can have a decent send off without inconveniencing her children.
