Jet stores employee displays ****** towards black customer.

On the 16 February 2021 I went to jet store in Gateway to buy a pair of school trousers , socks and stationary for my Son , little did i know that my shopping experience will be a nightmare . Philisiwe stopped me at the exit and demanded to search my bag and packets . I allowed her and she saw that I had bought trousers , a packet of pencils and tape . She demanded the recipient and I looked for it in my shopping bags and couldn't find it instantly . She the shouted that I'm a ***** in front of other customers and staff members . She demanded I empty out my bags to see if I hadn't ****** anymore iteams . She humiliated me and people were staring at me like a filthy ***** . She didn't even ask which cashier assisted me before jumping to a stupid, unprofessional and highly unwelcome conclusion that I was a ***** . I asked management if that's how they treat all their customers and if this behavior was accepted and he said black women had ****** under ware earlier and they thought I was part of that gang . I was even more upset at his stupid response . I am a lady with heart disease and this terrible incident triggered palpitations and chest pains and I almost went into cardiac arrest because of her stupid behaviour , Lord knows what would have happened if I didn't carry my heart medication . She basically endangered my life and treated me in an undignified manner . I don't appreciate imbicility especially when it was unnecessary. I have never been so embarrassed in my life . I asked her if I was a ***** I wouldn't have just ****** school trousers I would have taken school shoes and shirts too . The tag had been removed which was an indication that I paid . ZAMA vouched for me that I paid and remembered that she assisted me . The woman wasn't even apologetic about the humiliation I endured . What's more concerning is she only stops black women because the manager told her that black women had ****** under ware before . I am an educated lady and I would never ever ***** especially trousers to the value of R79.00 . I will never set foot in any edcon/ Jet store as they don't train their staff members and the have a serious lack of customer service skills . This was ****** and extremely unappreciated.
