Jet head office and Jet stores have 2 different stories

Went to Jet in Matlosana Mall last Sunday. We asked for the Outstanding balance balance and paid it up in Full. We asked te cashier if the account is active and was told yes. When we went back today we were told we can't use the account. They had a lot of stories. On the system shows a zero balance .
