Jet Clothing (Edcon) Contract Sim Swap

I just asked MTN as to how long it takes to get a contract sim swap and they advised me that it takes 2-24 hours, My Mother, whose cell number is in question here ***), she went to apply or get a sim swap done last week Tuesday at Jet Alex mall (because its a cellphone contract with Jet) and she was assisted by Adilade and she was told that it will take 24 hours to sort out and no response or feedback was given since she left the store on that day, and on Saturday she called the store and she was assisted by Portia and she was told that the Cellphone depart,emts dont work on weekends and they will come back to her on Monday, which they still have not, now I put her on a conference call with the store and the same Adelade picked up the phone , we explained our story to her and she instantly picked up who we were and she asked to call my mother back because she had a customer she was dealing with in the store at that time (10:47) and till this time, she has not come back to us and the sim swap is still not done. Can we please get to the bottom of this ASAP.

Till this day, our issue has still not been resolved, and as Cynthia from Edcon had promised us on Tuesday that someone will call us, it still has not happened. On Wednesday my Mom went back to the branch (Alex Mall) to check what the status of her request is, and she says the person who initially helped her (Portia) literally ran away from her when she saw that she was back in the store, she knew exactly who my mother was and what she was there for, and to my Mother's shocking surprise, she was assisted by Gabi and she put her on the phone with the department that will process the sim swap for her, the person on the other side of the phone told her that there was no request logged for a sim swap for her cell number, like how do the people at that store explain this, a whole 7 days and to find out that nothing was logged after so many days, its very appalling service and to think that when these people apply for jobs they say they will give their all to perform in their jobs. I am disgusted at that Portia girls behavior. I would like to Thank Gabi for her assistance, we got a ref number and we were promised delivery on the request by Monday the 03/02/2020.
