Jet account card helpline is useless

Apparently at Jet they now block purchases on your card without consulting with the account holder first even though your account is up to date and you have credit to use. The case is: if you haven't purchased using your card for a while they block it, apparently is for safety purposes. Then the store needs to call this number *** to unblock it so a customer can use it again. I spent almost an hour at the till point this lady calling this number over and over again, phone goes through gets picked up but no one talks on the other side either than hearing people having their own conversation on the other side. This went on so many times, even the cashier that was assisting got irritated and I tried the number from my cellphone same story. I then ended up giving that lady a break and purchasing using cash instead of my account card. Apparently they have been doing this for a while and another customer when she was asking about the ignorance then they put the phone down on her, just like that. Not sure f they are short staffed or what but this is no way to be dealing with their clients. I am very disappointed in them.
