Jet account

I would like to be assisted, I have an account with Jet, I payed the amount due and asked them to close my account, they never closed my account as requested and the account accrued interest, I have a proof of payment that the amount was payed, is it fair for me to pay the interest acrued after I requested them to close the account and they never did?
