Inconsistent application of policy

So I visited Jet Tygervalley. It seems that customers with the ability to make a scene in stores get away with the unthinkable!

I bought my son a jeans 7-8 years priced at R139.99. Purchase was made on 21 May 2015. At the time I did not have the receipt but I managed to find it now. My son wore the jeans thrice and it tore so badly after he climbed into a bakkie. No sharp objects in sight. Now for the manager to insinuate that my child is busy and deliberately damaged the item is unfounded. She then said I can exchange but for an item that is R99.99 as that was item price. I disagreed with her because I know I bought another jeans for R99.99. This is the same manager that allowed a customer to return a bra that was too small???!!! How unhygienic is this? Shocking that customers that are prepared to kick up a racket can get away with breaching company policy.

The quality of the item I bought was very poor. I have to commend Woolworths because they pride themselves on quality and I never have issues when returning a faulty item (slip or no slip).

I am only contactable after hours (from 5pm) due to the nature of my work. Alternatively email
