Hello Peter,

My name is Peter. Someone opened a Jet account in my name without my knowledge in Pietermaritzburg (I live in Pinetown). This account was opened in January. Jet did not bother to notify me about this until August. I went to dispute and submit all the required documentation in a Jet store in Pine Crest. The person responsible for making sure that my document got sent through didn’t send it through until I got another phone call from Jet to ask about payments. This account is now under investigation. The issue now is I get a message from Jet saying that my account has been handed over MBD which is a firm for debt collection. Jet are saying that they can’t do anything about it until the matter is investigated. The law firm is saying to me that I need to send in documentation saying that my account is being investigated. The ***** department say I need to wait. According to Jet I owe them roughly R9000.

What do I do? I have never used the account firstly and now my account has been handed over to lawyers when it is currently being investigated. What do I do?
