False advertising
<p>Jet advertised that is was having a R9.99 sale on school shirts, yet the sale only app**** to kids aged 5-6. No where did they say this on their adverti*****t/promotion. This led many people to come to their store to buy school shirts, only to find that if they had older children, they would not be able to afford to buy near as many, because the older school shirts went up to at least R69.99. This is 7 times the price on which they advertised their shirts. It also made a terrible inconvenice to many people who wouls've come to Jet to specifically buy their child a t-shirt, but now might not have been able to. This was also on a Friday, which is a work day. </p>
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, kindly be advised that as per the terms and conditions of the promotion it was while stocks lasted and only 5-6 years school shirts were going for R9.99 and as the sizes went up the prices also differed accordingly. We sincerely apologize that you were in store early and there was already no stock of the shirts as only selected stores had the whole stock of the shirts.
