I just would like to write to you and warn you about the horrible service/**** that i went through.

I’m was unfortunately retrenched 3 years ago, and decided to take up road running, only problem was, I didn’t have a decent watch, a smart watch needless to say.

So I approached Facebook market place and found a company called Jet-Cell phones.

I saw he had this Polaroid PA80 for R550.00 each. I approached the dealer for the watch, I advised him of my situation.

He told me he was all the way in Randburg, I advised him I don’t have transport and would assist him with more money for petrol. He said not a problem give me R150.00 for petrol I said, I only have R140.00. Long story short, I scratched up another R10.00.

He came with two watches , one that didnt even work correctly, he said you can have this one, as it works fine, dated the 25th of October 2022. The watch didn’t even come in a box. He told me that’s how he sells them to his customers for all I know, they could of been second hand rubish.

I asked him, how he can sell merchandise like this, what sort of a garentee will he offer me, that there won’t be any issues going forward, He advised me two weeks.

The watch lasted 13 days and stopped working. I advised him of this, and he said he will come to me to replace it with another one.

I’m still waiting - it’s the 22nd of November 2022.

I’m currently still looking for a job, and had to put my road running on hold do to finances.

I really hope this hope this puts a big damper on his business or even gets him closed down.

I don’t see why we have to tolerate this type of behaviour.
