Exceptional Customer Service at Jet Sandton City – Compliment for Busisiwe Ntsolongo

I visited the Jet store in Sandton City on the 29th of December 2025 and was assisted by Busisiwe Ntsolongo. As a regular customer of Jet/Jet Home, especially at the Sandton City branch where it's often difficult to find staff readily available, I was genuinely surprised and impressed by the exceptional service I received from Busisiwe.

She went above and beyond to assist me. I had previously purchased lamps on Bash, and my order was unfortunately cancelled due to a stock issue. When I returned to the store to purchase a different colour, I asked Busisiwe to double-check whether the original colour was perhaps available. Unlike anyone else I’ve encountered at that branch, she took the time to thoroughly check the floor and stockroom.

When she confirmed that they didn’t have stock, she didn’t stop there. She proactively checked other stores and the Bash system again, only finalizing the sale once she had exhausted every possible option. Even then, she offered to organize a box for the bulky items and asked how I’d carry them, something no one else had ever considered, even when I had to bring two colleagues previously just to help me with large items.

Having been in retail for over 10 years, I can confidently say that service like Busisiwe’s is rare. Her work ethic, initiative, and genuine care for the customer experience deserve to be celebrated. I sincerely hope Jet considers formally recognizing her dedication through some sort of a reward or some form of employee recognition. Staff like her are not only assets to your team but also key to building lasting customer loyalty and increasing turnover.
