Disgusting service at jets chatsworth.

Today I went to Jet in chatsworth center to purchase vests for my 3 year old daughter, the management at Jet told me that vests for kids are non essential items, however there is a whole range of clothing for adults for sale, can someone please explain as to how other clothing is deemed essential and not vests for 3 year old kids??? Absolutely disgusting
