Disgusting service
I'm writing this email to express my utter disgust and disappointment in your service.
My late father had a policy with you and the service my mother is receiving is appalling, you people take money from elders, make them take all kinds of policies but when they have to pay out you make life difficult for those left to deal with the aftermath of death, if a person is paying their premium regularly and you have proof of that and all documents are provided, why does a person who is not a main member of the policy have to go through this tedious process of answering questions. This policy was taken long ago, details change premium increase but you hold this against a person who possibly has no idea what information was given.
Rude impatient consultants dealing with elders. I'm boiling as I'm writing this email, and I will use my power to make sure everyone i can reach doesn't use your pathetic services.
We went to different insurers and Jet was by far the worst, so out of touch. The only human was the lady in the store, she has compassion something you must teach your consultants.
We've been at your store for 2 hours with no way forward, stupid delays.
We are truly sorry for the distress and frustration you and your mother have experienced, especially during such a difficult and emotional time following the loss of your father. Please accept our sincere condolences. What you have described is not the level of service, compassion, or respect we expect from our team—particularly when assisting elderly customers and families dealing with bereavement. We deeply regret that your mother was made to feel uncomfortable, delayed, or treated without patience, and we acknowledge how upsetting this must have been. While certain verification processes are required by regulation, this should never translate into rudeness, lack of empathy, or unnecessary delays. Two hours without meaningful progress is unacceptable, and we take your feedback regarding our consultants very seriously. We are especially grateful that you acknowledged the staff member in-store who showed compassion. That is the standard we strive for, and we will ensure this is reinforced across our teams. To allow us to urgently investigate and address this matter, could you please assist us with the following details:
- Which store/location did you visit?
- The date and approximate time of your visit
- The policy number (if available)
- The name(s) of any consultant involved (if known)

If you trace calls relating to the ID number of the deceased you will trace the consultations. The first lady was coloured and she was very impatient and rude.
