CLAIMING FOR A RETRENCHMENT POLICY

My mom was retrenched from work last year Sept 2014, she phoned Jet to tell them that she is not working anymore and she had a protection plan for death and retrenchment, she was told that the protection was only for disability. She then phoned them today to make payment arrangements because I said ill help her pay and the lady that helped confirmed that she had a death and retrenchment plan but it was cancelled in December 2014, and she must continue with the payment arrangements because she doesn't have the name of the person she spoke to initially and my mom has been paying this plan for years.
