Bag Search

Good day. (Pretoria Road Kemp)<br> Yesterday (05/08/2015) I was so disgusted by the way i was treated when existing the store. the security guard stopped me and insisted in searching my handbag and also the other bags i had in my hand. i told him that it is my rihgt to refuse to be search, but im willing for him to search the other bags. he then insisted to search the handbag after wihich i told him not only can i refuse but the least it should be done by a female. he then called one of the staff ladies which in turn gave me such bad attitute and ask me what policy am i talking about. when leaving the store the security guard said \tomorrow i will show you my policy".<br> <br> i understand that when entering the store i do it under license and They (store) have the right to ask me to leave. they should display prominent signs informing clients that they will search you. the search was forcibly conducted - which can be a potential assualt. according to section 14 of the Constitution i have the right to privacy which include point (b) the right to not have my property search. <br> <br> serious action needs to take place and educating both the staff and clients about their right.
