Attacked by security

On Saturday me, My Mother and a family friend went to Jet. As we were passing the exit the security said that they want to search our bag. I just walked by them and told them no as they do not have the right to search my handbag. As I'm waiting outside for my mother and her friend to come out the security man came to me and grab my bag. I pulled back asking him who gives him the right to search my bag as there is clearly no signed that they can search my bag and the alarm did not go off when I passed by it. By now the security women also comes and pull my bag and they pull me back in to the shop. The man lets go of my bag but the lady still holds on to my bag and shouts at me. All the people from the outside came to look what is happening as she is shouting at me. We left the shop but went back to call management. I asked the cashier to call management for me and they also took their time so I had to go and call them myself. When we went back to the security the man was laughing at us. Management asked the lady to apologise to us but she just waked away. When I got home I saw that my handbag was damage. I have send a mail to Jets head office on Sunday and still no reply.
