Account 21 years back still black listed

I went to Jet to open an account, at my surprise I did not meet their credentials, I ask them to please phone so that I can hear why not? They said 21 year ago I was a bad payer, which was not the case. I paid up my Jet account and ask them to close it, which they did not do, so I receive a bill for card fees and club fees, I went to Jet Mokopane and paid the outstanding and ask them please to close the account. Now after 21 years I am still black listed with them as a bad payer???????
