A nauseating experience

On the 21st of September 2023 I walked into the store and past 2 (two) employees busy on their cellphones. Whatever they were watching (whilst sitting down nogal) was so gripping they didn't even lift their heads as I walked past them. I arrived at the paytill where the first cashier (wearing a mask) nodded her left to the left, which I understood to mean that I should rather have her collegue assist me. Upon arrival at the said colleague's till she got up from her chair and cleared away some of the clothing items in front of her. I asked whether I was disturbing her lunch break as her left cheek was bulging with whatever it was she was eating, she simply shook her head. I explained that I had 2 items which I wished to return. She asked whether it was card or cash and I said card to which she sighed with relief as apparently cash was going to be an issue. While typing on the computer, her lips kept smacking with swifting the buldge from one cheek to the other. I asked her whether she was sure she wasn't having lunch and she expressly told me "I am not eating". That's when I noticed it was a ball of chewing gum that caused the buldge and the lip smacking. Clearly irritated with me she finished the transaction in silence (except for the sound of her gum being chewed open mouthed). I was relieved when I got to leave the store I vowed never to enter again. I went to Edgars Greenstone Mall thereafter and what a lovely reception and shopping experience I had there. Maybe the Jet store manager should go visit and see how a store should be run.
