Jenny Internet: Lies, Excuses, and Zero Accountability

I am beyond frustrated with Jenny Internet.

From the very start, the installation technician made a fault, and after countless calls and being told we were the problem, it turned out to be their mistake. Since then, we have not had one good month of service and have been **** to repeatedly.

Most recently, the issue has been ongoing since 14 October, and after several days of problems, we spent all of Friday making call after call trying to get help. Every conversation was filled with contradictions and empty promises.

We were told a technician would be sent out, but that never happened. We were told we would get a call back in 5 minutes, but that never happened either.

One agent claimed a technician had already been contacted earlier in the day, even though we were only told hours later that one would be called. He promised to check the call recordings and get back to us, but we are still waiting.

We left two callback requests after 21:00, sent a WhatsApp, and still received no calls. Instead, we got an email stating they could not reach us with no missed calls showing on either number. Later, another agent dropped the call and never called back.

To make things worse, Jenny Internet constantly closes tickets without fixing anything. We are regularly told it is a sector problem, yet they keep insisting on sending a technician. When there are outages, they do not notify clients. You only find out once you phone in, and then you receive a generic apology.

The towers are always dropping, and one of their own staff admitted that Jenny Internet is not properly equipped to service our area.

We even considered getting a business line, but I will not pay another cent to a company that treats customers this way.

And to Jenny Internet, if you are going to use ChatGPT to respond on Hello Peter, at least make your replies sound human. The punctuation gives it away every time. Have the decency to let a real person reply when your service is this shocking.

I do not leave bad reviews, but you have pushed me to this point. Your service is an absolute disgrace.

A furious and exhausted customer

Hi Jamie-lee,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, even though we deeply regret that it has come to this.

We sincerely apologize for the ongoing frustration, the lack of follow-through, and the repeated breakdown in communication you've experienced. What you’ve described — from the initial installation fault to inconsistent support, missed callbacks, and unresolved issues — is absolutely not the standard we set for our service or customer care.

We take full accountability for the unresolved technical problems and the unacceptable customer experience. The repeated closing of tickets without resolution and the conflicting information you've received are serious issues we are actively investigating. Your feedback has already been escalated to our senior support team and technical management.

We also hear your concern about the reliability of service in your area, and while we are working on improving infrastructure, this is no excuse for poor communication or unkept promises. We’re committed to making things right and to ensuring you are personally updated — not with generic responses, but with clear, honest communication from a real person.

Lastly, thank you for your honesty about how our responses come across online. We understand your frustration and appreciate the nudge — we’ll do better to ensure our replies reflect real accountability and not just automated apologies.

Sincerely,
Amanda
