DON"T USE JENNY INTERNET
I have been a Jenny customer from Sept 2021. Always very satisfied with the service provided. That changed on 16/3/2024. I woke up at 7.00 and found that my internet was down. According to a sms received from Jenny, the Tower was off from 22.00 on Friday. Called customer service immediately @ 7.42. They registered a call-back. Call-centre informed me at 8.52 that "access constraints" are preventing technicians from resolving the matter. The technicians did not have a key to reset the Tower..... The technicians were therefore waiting for the solar to kick in, which clearly did not happen. NO one had internet and the customers had to wait till Monday before "access" could be obtained. I made it clear that this was unacceptable, but the problem was only resolved today, Monday. The call-centre promised credit on my account, the Accounts Manager was going to talk to the technician and phone me, but NOTHING. I queried the standby conditions, I queried the fact that my invoice includes service on a weekend, I queried the Field Manager's role, I queried everything and was promised feedback, but NOTHING!!!! I will not advise anyone to use Jenny internet and I will not renew my subscription.
Hope you are well
I do apologise for the inconvenience caused.

I am NOT well at all. Thank you for asking.
I do not wish to receive a call from the billing department. This is NOT about money. This is about poor service delivery and Jenny does not give a flying hoot. Instead, I was "snubbed" by Jenny with the following reply on WhatsApp:
"I understand you may be frustrated that our technicians couldn't access the tower location. Unfortunately, that was beyond our control and the network technicians' manager has already been consulted regarding the matter. The good news is the faulty equipment was replaced this morning, so the issue should be resolved now and hopefully will not occur again. ***-03-16-561 Regards: Narine Venter"
What does "this was beyond our control" mean???? "The network technicians' manager was consulted" is also not clear. Don't insult my intelligence with poor excuses. What is the solution?
I maintain with my statement: DON'T USE JENNY INTERNET!!!!!

"Dear Mundi Botha,
We are writing to clarify on the recent network outage. We
understand this disruption caused inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for
the frustration it may have caused.
The outage was caused by a faulty inverter at the tower.
Unfortunately, our network technician was unable to access the site immediately
to replace the equipment because it was locked. Neither our technicians nor our
agents were able to reach the designated contact person to gain access.
The site owner has a policy of restricting site access, and we
respect their desire for security. However, this limited our ability to respond
swiftly to the issue. To prevent similar situations in the future, our netowrk
technician has provided the best possible equipment that hsould not fail unless
there is an external cause such as being physically damaged and should provde
aufficient power supply to the tower should there be a municipal outage at the
premises itself, the network technician's manager has also been asked to
explore alternative solutions. A spare key has been requested previously but
the owner had declined our request as they do not wish for anyone to have
access to the premsies without their presence on site, but our team will try to
persuide the owner once again to allow this.
We're pleased to inform you that the inverter was successfully
replaced this morning, and your network connection should now be fully
restored. We apologize again for the inconvenience and appreciate your
understanding. To offer some compensation for the
Should you have any further questions or require additional
information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
The Jenny Internet Team."
Jenny, your response was unprofessional with NOT completing the following sentence: "To offer some compensation for the"........ How is this corrective action???? Then we have the following excuse: "A spare key has been requested previously but
the owner had declined our request as they do not wish for anyone to have access to the premises without their presence on site, but our team will try to
persuade the owner once again to allow this. " I have corrected the spelling mistakes in your response. How can you NOT have a spare key to the tower???? AND pay your technicians a standby allowance, but they can't reach their area of responsibility? NOT acceptable.
