Bad Service

Do not subscribe to this company's service. Their service is pathetic, their agent arrogant and their rules and regulations not customer orientated. They are never forthcoming to clients and only responds reluctantly to get complaints removed from this site. Be warned.

Hi Amanda
Thank you for the response.

1) When this review was submitted on Saturday 29 March 2025 I was sent an SMS at 06:17 that the service is down due to a power failure in the area. I'm not sure how long it was offline before this was send out. At 07:35 I received the same message with an ETA of 08:30. At 08:24 I received another SMS that the service was restored, although the service was only restored to my receiver at 10:10AM.
I am dependant on my Wifi for trading, communication with clients, security and transactions I need to respond to immediatly on a website. I am paying you guys monthly an amount of R1278 for equipment rental and a speed less than 15mbps because I live in a remote area (and I hear this tariff is being hiked from April).

Because wifi is of utmost importance to me I as an individual invested in several means to obtain power during power failures. I installed a backup battery system to last me 5 hours during a power failure and then also have a backup power device to keep my dish powered for another 4 to 5 hours and even if that runs out I have a generator so I can continue to work.

You guys whom are a big company supplying a service to many clients can not install a battery or a generator to continue to suplly a service during power failures which is a common phenomenon in our country?? Then if you do runs out of power you can not exchange batteries in less than 4 hours? I think this is really unacceptable.

2) I recently referred a client/family to your company who signed up for a contract and heard that I qualified for R300 as a result. This R300 was paid to some e-wallet affiliated with FNB of which I am not a client. I managed to open an account but was not able to transfer funds to it without using an FNB ATM. As mentioned I am living remotely and don't have an ATM on the corner. Once in two weeks when I do go to town it means I have to stand in a que half a block in length to transfer R300. Really?? And by the time I could do this the e-wallet expired. I contacted your accounts department and was simply thrown with the book. Terms and conditions!
Nothing like going the extra mile either like: Can we arrange with the accounts department to subtract this failed method of credit payment from your next account or can we at least deposit this into an e-wallet again at a time convenient to you when you can access an ATM.
All I got is: You failed to drive to town specifically for this R300 and you failed to spend half a day getting it transferred so sorry it expired.

Great service to clients or NOT??

Regards
Gert

Hi Gert,

Service Downtime & Power Failures
We completely understand the critical role that a stable internet connection plays in your daily operations, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the downtime. While we do implement backup power solutions where possible, certain infrastructure challenges in remote areas can make uninterrupted service difficult during extended power outages.

To improve your experience, we have upgraded your connection to 23.5Mbps to help enhance your service reliability and overall performance. We hope this provides a better browsing experience for you moving forward.

Referral Reward Payment
We apologize for the inconvenience you faced in accessing your referral reward. Regarding the eWallet payment, if the OTP (One-Time PIN) expires, you will need to follow these steps to retrieve your funds:

Dial *120*277# from the registered cellphone number.

Select the option to Retrieve eWallet PIN.

Follow the prompts to generate a new OTP.

Once you have the new OTP, you can withdraw the funds at an FNB ATM or participating retailer.

If you experience any issues with this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist further.

We truly value you as a customer, and your concerns have not gone unheard. Please know that we are committed to enhancing our service and customer experience. If you would like to discuss this further, we’d be happy to assist—please contact us directly.

Best regards,
Amanda Mbath

Amanda

The phone number I use to make calls is not the same as the number I receive calls. This is technicality's you guys don't even think about when sending money to my phone number. I have a bank account to receive payments and never requested payment to your so called e-wallet. Also, my internet speed currently (and I wish I was able to attach a screenshot here) is: 6mbps download and 2mbps upload. This in comparison of 23.5mbps promised above. Can you see why I say your service to clients absolutely sucks. I logged a ticket and was asked hours later if the problem was resolved which was when I ran this speed test. I do not have whole day to sit and test to see if you guys are delivering the service I bought from you.

My next monthly payment to you will be to a e-wallet of my choice so we can see if you like to jump through several loops in order to get your payment.
